Sensory Room Starter Kits & Custom Buildouts

Whether it’s a Sunday school classroom, a  hallway, or a pop-up community space, we help faith-based groups and local organizations create sensory rooms that meet the unique needs of children and adults with sensory sensitivities. Our team offers guidance, starter kits, and hands-on help in designing quiet spaces that make people feel safe and supported.

From portable sensory tents to permanent build-outs with swings, weighted blankets, and calming lights, we walk with you every step of the way.

If your church, business, or community center has a room — or even just a corner — we can help transform it into an inclusive, comforting space.

Training & Volunteer Support for Inclusive Events

Faith on the Spectrum offers customized training for volunteers, staff, and community groups who want to make their environments more inclusive. Our "Buddy Volunteer" program equips people with the skills to support individuals with autism and other sensory needs during events, services, or everyday gatherings.

We offer:

Buddy Volunteer Training (virtual or in-person)

Church staff and community leader workshops

One-on-one coaching for faith-based inclusion

Printable sensory support guides and visual tools

Our goal is to create communities where no one feels left out. Volunteers learn how to recognize sensory overload, offer regulation tools, and communicate with empathy and understanding.
